Once again, The Little Valley Jamboree will be holding a music festival on June 15th and 16th, 2019 at the Erickson Recreational facility. The Little Valley Jamboree is a non-profit organization which raises and collects funds for special need children. With your donations we can continue to assist precious children with their many needs.
We truly value the support of money, gift certificates or items for live, silent and rainbow auctions. All are welcomed to join us, there is activities for the children, dancing and music! This year the recipients are two wonderful children.
Ella Waldner: Ella is a one-and-a-half-year-old girl from Rivers, MB. Ella was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition known as Kabuki Syndrome. Ella was born with a critical congenital heart defect where the left half of her heart did not develop. There is no cure and Ella had two open heart surgeries. Due to complications she had mini strokes. Ella was able to finally come home at 6 months of age with oxygen and with tube feedings. Despite Ella’s medical complexities, she loves life and is becoming a bright little girl.
Blake Payette: Blake is 12 years old and lives with his mother and brother in Neepawa, MB. He was diagnosed with Microcephaly, which means there is some fluid on his brain, which affects his motor skills and he is non-communitive. He has a special stroller that can be attached to his brother’s wheelchair, so his Mom can take them both for walks. Despite Blake’s medical condition he loves swimming, music and playing with his school friends.
We know with all the support we can make life a little easier for these special children and their families.
